Larger Image at 40% Resolution In 2019 I completed an end to end mosaic of the Northern Milky Way. In May 2020 I took a 2 image mosaic of the Milky Way above my backyard observatory (which is located in the middle of the image) while it was imaging Cygnus. I then blended in my deep high resolution image of the Milky Way to show the full detail that would be visible if our eyes could collect hundreds of hours of light in a blink of an eye. |
